Mike Kilgore, Owner

Even as a college freshman, Mike knew he wanted to study marketing. He worked hard and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Southeast Missouri State University with a B.S. in Business Administration.

Real-world experience has shown Mike the road to success is neither straight nor smooth. He's done everything from unloading trucks in lumber yards to writing reports used by the leadership of major corporations.

The first to admit his career hasn't followed his carefully laid-out plans, Mike says there’s very little he'd change.

“I’ve learned you don’t have to break through every obstacle in your way. If you can't break through it, go around it, go over it, or go under it. Bring that adaptability into every situation, and you’ll make real progress.”

It's that sense of dogged determination that led Mike to found Mohawk Marketing Group. While the process has required patience and some tough decisions, Mike won't deny the thrill of seeing something of his own take shape and gain momentum.

When he’s not growing the business, Mike enjoys life with his wife and daughter, tinkers with old motorcycles, and chips away at a never-ending chore list.

Mike's academic background also includes an MBA from Roosevelt University in Chicago.
